" This year, in February I started as the in-house Motivation
Mindset Coach for energie fitness club in Croydon (Stop Bad Habits; Confidence & Motivation;
etc). Fab!
This fits around my Coaching, NLP, Personal Fitness Training, and Reiki clients.
I've also
just completed a PSYCH-KR workshop, another fantastic tool for personal change and development to share with you.
It's a real buzz empowering other people and I love witnessing people make their dreams come true
and overcome difficulties swiftly and for the long term.
We are all unique with our own ways of facing
or avoiding life's challenges and problems.
In the west, we sometimes forget that we have an energy body as well
as a physical body. I'm passionate about well-being inside and out, Mind Body and Soul, and living authentically
and true to ourselves. A human Being, rather than a human Doing; staying in touch with our deepest self, beyond
ego.
Last year I turned 51 and have just become a grandmother!
Spanning over 25 years, I started work as
a secretary at BBC-TV, film, advertising and design companies. I helped my ex-husband's clothing business,
designing and selling leather ladies wear. I was a professional dancer, actress, jazz dance teacher
and choreographer including fashion shows for international designers, hairdressers, clubs in
London, Europe and NYC. I also worked for many years as assistant choreographer to Bruno Tonioli -
one of the judges on TV's popular "Strictly Come Dancing", including teaching classes
under his name and, before that, occasionally worked as a substitute teacher for Arlene Phillip's jazz dance for
beginners.
Before the words 'Personal Trainer' were invented, my very first Personal Dance/Performance clients were
singers Paul Young, Bananarama, and Pepsi & Shirley; then along came Mandy Smith, Rick Astley, Robbie Nevil and
many others during the 1980's.
I taught Speech & Drama to children and special needs groups (in
Liverpool and London); directed and coached people up onto the stage as confident performers or presenters; and
hosted drama clubs at schools and courses. Following work as a drama leader at the London Unicorn Children's
Theatre, I started a trend in South London several years ago: themed children's parties - "Partyplay Unique
Children's Drama Parties" - loads of parties playing fun games and putting on a mini play for the parents at
the end of the party... Alot of noise and imaginative fun!
People tell me I "walk the talk" and look healthy
and young for my age. Thanks! After decades of teaching dance, performance and exercise, I fancied
empowering people in other ways too.
Over the next 4 years, I trained as a Reiki Healer, NLP Practitioner, and
Life Coach. Some of the training was intensive and uncomfortable - but it was easier to carry on with my
goals in sight and nowadays I enjoy seeing my clients transform themselves and their lives - the results are amazing.
Many
clients also need me to be clued up enough to advise them on dietary choices and seeing through the advertising whitewash
and hype, how to recognise good or unhealthy food, avoid toxins and generally be a
lifestyle longevity motor-mouth - after all, most people want to stay young, avoid pain and the big diseases like
cancer, diabetes and heart disease. And don't we all prefer lots of energy and a positive outlook on life?!
I
was born in Manila, Phillipines, and I love hot weather and the sea. But years ago, I hit rock bottom - not for
the first time. So the place I ran away to was the sea-side on the Wirral (south of Liverpool), where my
hair grew long and I kept as physically fit and mentally alert as possible - continuing with my particular brand
of survival fight or flight tactics! It helped to pursue creative pastimes (acting, choreography), attend lots
of live performances and music gigs, and live where I felt safe after years of living in a fearful environment.
Returning
to London 6 years later I had my first experience of Reiki Energy Healing and thought, "WOW! I'd
love to do that!" - through curtains of tears! I clearly wasn't strong enough to
handle it (ie. becoming a Healer) 10 years ago and was also raising two children without family support and
only a handful of good friends.
As a result, my empathy as a coach, teacher and healer comes from experiences of loneliness,
desperation, poverty, worthlessness, abandonment and homelessness.
"Help! Why is this happening,"
I used to ask myself, "Why Me?!" Eventually, I found solutions through amazing books, mentors
and coaches and learnt how to tap into personal strengths...
If only
I knew then what I know now... but don't we all say that at some time in our lives!!
So... What
do you want more of in life now? What do you want to keep - yet maybe take for granted? Does it
serve your highest good and do you think it is congruent with your Soul's journey in this lifetime?! This is especially
important in today's world of clever advertising, depicted perfection, bad news programmes, dumbing down, the keeping
up with the Jones's attitude, Want More Have More (time, love, money, property, career advancement, slimness, Brad
Pit muscle, this season's must-have handbag/holiday/car, perfect relationships, global success... etc).
Many
people live in the future or the past (either worrying or remembering) but forget how to enjoy Now, their PRESENT.
Do you want to increase feelings of joy?
My clients are from all walks of life: executives, healers,
stay-at-home and working mums, artistes, money-men, teenagers to 70-plus, able-bodied, fit, physically disabled, depressed as
well as happy people. Some tell me they're fine yet want more of something, or feel they're
missing something. I get a kick out of helping people define what they want, need and find solutions
that feel right for them. For some, that could even mean discovering
what makes them "always want more" and dealing with that! It could be a journey to seek their soul's
purpose and live alongside it.
Thank you for your time. I wish you your highest good, Mind Body and Soul,
and look forward to witnessing your progress. "
