" Hello! I love it when people's dreams come
true, don't you? I get excited about their hopes, dreams and goals and help my clients live at 100% and
overcome difficulties swiftly and for the long term.
My clients are from all walks of
life: executives, healers, stay-at-home and working mums, artistes and creative types, money-men, teenagers to 70-plus, fit
or physically disabled, happy or depressed, extremely successful or people just trying hard to reach a goal.
Some clients tell me they're fine yet want to better some aspect of their lives; and some feel they're
missing something.
The Way I Work differs from person to person. We all
have unique ways of facing or avoiding life's challenges and problems, and I enjoy a wide variety of clients and
their circumstances, working 1-to-1, classes and groups. But we all have our own unique truths, preferences, identity,
dreams. In the west, we sometimes forget that we have an energy body as well as a physical body. I'm passionate
about well-being inside and out, mind body and soul, and living authentically and true to ourselves. A
human Being, rather than a human Doing, in touch with our deepest self, beyond ego.
Background Spanning over 25 years, I started as a secretary at BBC-TV, film, advertising, design and production
companies. When my first child was young, I helped with my husband's clothing business. Then I took
up dancing again...
Dance In the 1980's I taught jazz dance at the Dance Centre
Covent Garden. For many years I was Assistant Choreographer to Bruno Tonioli, one of the judges on TV's "Strictly
Come Dancing". Before the words 'Personal Trainer' were invented, my very first 1-to-1 clients were for Dance/Performance:
Paul Young, Bananarama, Pepsi & Shirley, Mandy Smith, Rick Astley, Robbie Nevil then many more in the 80's. My
choreography work took me to Europe and New York and included fashion shows for Maria Grachvogel, hairdressers
Cobella, Alan International, Clairol and Schwarzkopf, and London nightclubs.
Drama I studied drama, gained LLAM(Hons), worked as an actress, completed a physical theatre acting course at the Everyman,
Liverpool. I loved teaching Speech & Drama to primary aged children and special needs groups (in Liverpool
and London Unicorn Childrens Theatre); directed and coached people up onto the stage as confident performers and
presenters; and hosted drama clubs at schools and courses. Following working as a drama leader at the
London Workshop Co, I started a trend in South London in the 1990s - themed children's parties - "Partyplay
Unique Children's Drama Parties": fun games with a mini play to watch at the end.
Fitness
and Diet Returning to London from Liverpool, I joined the team of Personal Trainers at LAPT (London Academy
of Personal Trainers), and still enjoy teaching exercise to fantastic clients. I studied nutrition as many
people need dietary advice, including how to see through advertising whitewash and hype, recognise nutritious
food, avoid toxins, and general lifestyle longevity. Most of us want to stay young at heart, prefer
lots of energy and a positive outlook on life. We are what we eat as well as what we think. Recently, I qualified
as a Zumba dance fitness Instructor (in 2010), loving the happy music and party atmosphere.
Healing and
Mindset Over the next 4 years, I trained as a Reiki Healer, NLP Practitioner, and Life Coach.
Some of the training was intensive and uncomfortable - but it's easier to carry on with clear goals in
sight, isn't it. I learnt EFT (emotional freedom technique) and in 2010 became a PSYCH-KR
Practitioner (PSYCH-KR founded by Robert M Williams and Dr Bruce Lipton) which changes
our limiting beliefs and unconscious habits. Henry Ford said, "Whether you think you can or you think you can't
- you're right.". When my clients think differently, their behaviour changes and they get different results. Questions What do you want more of in life now? What do you want to keep, yet
maybe take for granted? And does it serve your highest good and is it congruent with your soul purpose
in this lifetime?! This is especially important in today's world of clever advertising, depicted perfection, depressing
news programmes, dumbing down, keeping up with the Jones's, Want More Have More NOW!, and materialist cultures.
Some of us often live in the future, some wallow in the past (either worrying or remembering)
but many of us forget how to enjoy Now, the PRESENT, which is a gift (that's why it's called the present?).
My personal life's been through alot of changes but I've enjoyed every minute of bringing up two wonderful
daughters and an exciting career journey. Nowadays I combine holistic Mind Body and Soul transformational methods
with my clients.
I wish you your highest good and look forward to witnessing your safe, successful and happy
progress. "
